Solar Lanterns and Bulbs

The Solar Lantern is a portable, light-weight device, mostly used for rural applications and can be used indoor as well as for outdoor lighting. The Lantern comprises 3 elements; a CFL, of 5W or 7W; PV module, and a maintenance-free battery.

A solar lantern can lead to savings of approximately 50 liters of kerosene in a year by replacing the traditional kerosene lantern. It can be used for up to 3 to 4 hours per day.
